Much of the land between the road and the Mill River are old prior industrial sties, now fenced off and deserted, waiting for the next step in their lives but meanwhile, creating temporary habitat for wild ones.

PICTURES: These lovely multi-family dwellings are among the many scattered along the lower sections of the Mill River Corridor; these two are both on the east side of Washington Boulevard below Pulaski Street.

PICTURES: Pitney Bowes's main plant and the Kosciuszko Park, are at the base of Washington Boulevard. The Park, which extends out into the Sound is temporary closed for environmental clean up. Stamford, CT, Jan 2006
